MUTTON KORMA
Mutton korma is a very delicious & spicy curry . It is especially prepared on the occasion of EID UL AZHA . It is very popular in the MUSLIM WORLD . Enjoyed at anytime as its the blend of spices & mutton with tandoori naan & salad.
here is the recipe of MUTTON KORMA
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED-
1 kg - MUTTON
250 GM - ONION [ chopped & fried]
1 tbspn - GINGER - GARLIC PASTE
1 tbspn - RED CHILI POWDER
3 tbspn - CORIANDER POWDER [ DHANIA POWDER]
1 tbspn - SALT [ or to taste ]
1 tbspn - CARAWAY SEEDS [ JEERA]
1 tbspn - WHOLE SPICES [ sabut garam masala ]
1 tbspn - NUTMEG - MACE POWDER [ jayphal - jawitri powder]
15 - CASHEW NUT PASTE [kaaju]
200 gm - CURD
1 tbspn - CRUSHED COCONUT [ gola ka burada]
INSTRUCTIONS -
* Heat 250 gm oil in pressure cooker , add chopped onion & fry it .Take out the fried onion .
*Now put mutton in the cooker & add ginger - garlic paste , red chili powder , coriander powder , salt , caraway seeds [ jeera ] , sabut garam masala [ whole spices ] , nutmeg -mace powder, cashew nut paste & curd in the coooker .
*Add 1 glass of water in the cooker. Close the lid & leave it on flame for 20 -30 minutes.
* After 20 - 30 minutes open the lid & cook korma until the water dries .
* When water dries add crushed fried onion & crushed coconut & mix it well .
YOUR DELICIOUS MUTTON KORMA IS NOW READY TO SERVE HOT WITH TANDOORI NAAN & GARNISH IT WITH FRESH GREEN CORIANDER LEAVES............
