CHICKEN AFGHANI [ DRY]


This is a very simple and quick dish to make .
 This side dish can be served in a dinner party or can be enjoyed on a lazy Sunday afternoon 
 as this dish can be prepared with minimal efforts and with all the ingredients available at home.

                 So, here's the quick recipe of DRY AFGHANI CHICKEN

  INGREDIENTS REQUIRED -
          500 gm - Chicken
            1 tblspn- Ginger garlic paste 
             1 tblspn- Onion garlic paste [optional]
             1 tblspn- Garam masala powder
              1/2 tblspn- Red chili powder
                Salt - to taste
                1 small size bowl - Plain Curd

[ 1 tblspn = 2 and 1/2 of regular eating spoon]



                 METHOD -
      
       1 . This recipe is made in 2 parts , first is the marination part.
        2 . Wash chicken and then in a bowl take chicken pieces and add in it all the ingredients one by 
            one mentioned above.
        3 .  Mix all the spices very nicely with your hands so that all the marination cover the chicken 
            pieces nicely.
        4 .  Marinate the chicken for 1/2 an hour [ if you are in a hurry marinate for atleast 10 minutes].
        5 .  After the marination part its time to cook our marinated chicken.
        6 .  In a non-stick frying pan add some vegetable oil or ghee .
         7 . After the oil get heated add to it the chicken pieces and shallow fry them from both the  side 
                until they become yellowish or golden brown.
        8 .  After it low the flame and put the lid on the pan for 1 minute so that the chicken releases its 
             juice which make it more juicier .
                       
      ➤Serve this tasty dry Afghani Chicken with mint / pudina or green chili chutney and onion rings.
       ➤ You can also squeeze some lime juice on it to enhance its taste.

   NOTE - This dish can be made with boneless chicken but the best is to made with chicken              breast  pieces. If it becomes too dry add some more oil or ghee unless it will start burning from the bottom.
