FISH CUTLET

             FISH CUTLET 

           Fish cutlet is a famous street food of KOLKATA , easy  to make at home & can be serve as a snacks with evening tea or a starter in lunch or dinner , overall a alltime dish to serve .

  INGREDIENTS REQUIRED-
    100 GM - SALMON FISH
    1/2 TEASPOON - BLACK PEPPER
    1/4 TBLSPN - GARAM MASALA POWDER [ whole
    1 tblspn - ginger [ chopped]
    1/2 tblspn - GARLIC [chopped]
    2 - GREEN CHILIES [chopped]
    1 - ONION [chopped]
    1/2 tblspn - RED CHILI [chopped]
     1 - POTATO [ boiled & smashed]
      SALT - to taste 
   

 INSTRUCTIONS- 
1. First of all in a sauce pan take 2 glass of water add 1 tblspn of salt , 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper ,1/4 tblspn of garam masala powder [whole spice powder] & salmon fish .
2. Cook all these until all the water evaporates , make sure that water should be dried unless you will not be able to form the shape of cutlet.
3. After the water dry , smash the fish properly .
4. In a separate pan take 2 tblspn of oil & add in it chopped ginger , garlic ,onions, green chilies & add salt to taste , 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper , 1/4 tblspn of garam masala & saute all these ingredients until onion become brown .
5. Now in this pan add smashed fish & earlier boiled and smashed potato , off the flame & mix them properly .
6. In a bowl take 1 egg and whisk properly .
7. Now take a small ball of fish and potato mixture & roll it & press between your palms until it take the form of cutlet .
8. After it dip the cutlet in egg & then coat it with bread crumb properly  . Be sure that all the cutlets are properly coated with breadcrumbs . Bread crumb makes cutlet crunchy.
9. Deep fry these cutlets for 2-3 minutes . You can also shallow fry also.
10 . These quantities are for 2-3 people if you are making for more people take all the ingredients accordingly.
