FISH CURRY

                                FISH CURRY [U.P. STYLE]

Fish curry is a dish famous in all over INDIA especially in Bengal
 region , there people eat fish curry with boiled rice but i m from U.P. here most of the people eat it with ROTI [a kind of Indian bread ].
It is easy to make gravy / curry & add fish after frying .Lots of flavour , spices & appetizing aroma can water your mouth so, here is your delicious FISH CURRY ................................πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘



     INGREDIENTS REQUIRED_

    1 kg - Catfish [ singada machli , in pieces]
     2 _ Onion [ roughly chopped]
     1 tblspn - Red chili powder
     1 tblspn - Coriender powder [dhania ]
     1/4 tblspn - Turmeric [ haldi]
     2 tblspn - Ginger - garlic paste
     2 tblspn - Onion - garlic paste [ optional]
     1 tblspn - Poppy seeds [ khas -khas]
     Salt - to taste
     1 tblspn - Whole spices [ garam masala ]
     300 gm - Vegetable oil
     1 cup - Plain curd

    INSTRUCTION_

1. Take a pan or kadhai and put 300gm of vegetable oil & heat it .
2. When oil get heated add chopped onion & fry until onions become brown .
3. Take out the fried onion & add to the oil the pieces of catfish & fry them for 5 minutes .
4. Take out the fried fish , now the fish had released it juices in the oil which will enhance flavour.
5. Now add to the oil all the spices , pastes, curd ,fried onion ,salt.
6. Cook this gravy [ masala ] for 8 minutes .
7. After 8 minutes add the fried fish to the gravy & cook for 5 minutes by putting a lid on the pan .
8. If you find the gravy too thick , you should add a glass of water to it unless it will start burning from the bottom.
9. Garnish it with green coriender leaves.

               YOUR DELICIOUS FISH CURRY IS NOW READY TO SERVE HOT EITHER WITH RICE OR ROTI.......................................πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
