                          CHICKEN CURRY

This recipe of chicken curry also called chicken angaara , Angaara means burnt coal, this chicken dish gives you a feeling of smokiness without any barbique.    it is a very delicious recipe of chicken & perfect for a dinner party .
                 here is the recipe of ANGAARA CHICKEN..............................................................


              INGREDIENTS REQUIRED -

            2 tblspn - coriender [ dhania]
            2 tblspn -  black pepper [kali mirch]
             2 tblspn - caraway seeds [ jeera]
             4-5 - red chili whole [without stick]
             2 inch - cinnamon stick [daal-chini]
             6-7 - cloves [laung]

              6 - green cardimom    [ hari elaichi]
➤  ROAST ALL THESE WHOLE SPICES IN A PAN & THEN GRIND THEM IN A GRINDER UNTIL IT BECOMES A FINE POWDER.

            1/2 kg - CHICKEN 
            2 TEASPOON - RED CHILI POWDER 
            2 TBLSPN - SALT 
            1/2 TEASPOON - TURMERIC 
            1/2 CUP - TOMATO PUREE [you can use readymade  puree or can crush tomatoes]
            1/2 CUP- FRIED ONIONS
            1 CUP - CURD 
            1/2 CUP - OIL [ for coking]

       INSTRUCTIONS-

1. Take chicken in a bowl & add red chili powder,salt,turmeric,tomato puree,fried onions,curd & a pinch of red food colour [if you want to have a dark red color ].
2. Mix all the ingredients very well and properly coat the chicken .
3. After this add the grinded powder we have made earlier into the bowl & mix it well .
4. Take a pan & heat the oil properly .
5. After heating the oil add your marinated chicken & cover the pan with a lid.
6. Leave it for 35 minutes.
7.After 35 minutes take off the lid and place a piece of foil paper in the middle of the pan.
8. Burn a piece of coal &put it on the foil paper & drizzel 2 drops of oil on it .
9. The coal will release its smoke  at the same time put the lid on the pan & low the flame for 1 min as shown in the picture.
10. After 1 minute off the flame & take out the coal and foil paper [ in that 1 minute your chicken has absorbed the smokiness of coal which you will feel in your mouth after eating].

    YOUR DELICIOUS ANGAARA CHICKEN IS READY TO SERVE HOT WITH TANDOORI NAAN.
